Simon HarrisEye catching graphics, with a good sense of colouring are key to the success of any web site, no matter how established the customers business is. No one is going to stay on a site longer than they need, if its look and feel does not, even if subconsciously, ´draw them to it and to stay there. Every web site calls for a theme, layout, word content, style ideas, colour mix, movement and more. Very few people, including most web site designers, professional or amateur, can really claim to be able to take a blank page and produce all of these things to the same standard, let alone a high standard. So, for us, for around 70% of the time, buying a template not only saves us time, which is money for us and our customer, but allows us to introduce original ideas, and greater skill levels than we possess in the design areas. We have used around two hundred templates on behalf of our clients. We ´study form´ all the time, looking at the new offerings of several template designers, as well as reminding ourselves of the old. As a marketing policy we regularily suggest our customers should commission a fresh site with a fresh theme (based on something we have seen, and can see working for them). We are then able to suddenly replace their original with their new, and invite all their clients to view and comment upon ‘the new approach’ (even reverting to the original if reaction is not as we and our customer would want). With templates it is usually easy to evolve a customers site in this way, showing them to be attentive to their customers ‘entertainment’ as well as factual needs, and bringing us repeat business at an affordable cost to our customer. This would be much harder if we did not use templates. TM, in our experience, are as good as it gets. We love their regular updates, and free offerings of relevant information and from time to time templates. The free templates allow us to have created a library of differing web site ideas, which we can modify the content of to point out benefits of functionality, and share with our customers as examples of a fresh idea or approach. Especially as the free templates are always similar to what is available to buy (and absolutely not just ‘cast off, slow selling designs’ given as a tit bit). Once our customer admires an idea, we find a match that they can buy (we believe in our customers owning their own web assets) for us to modify. TM are a great act, with a marketing style and model supported by a huge support act that we unashamedly copy on behalf of our customers. We tell our customers to boldly GIVE, secure in the fact that THEY will GET, by GIVING,( just as TM do).

By far, and bar none, I have not seen another Template Service that tries not only to exceed their levels of professional templates and designs, but also gives you the professional service, and support needed to run such an outstanding operation.
